the great inside painting project. good paint color suggestions so far--- i think i'm going to start with a chili red for the living room. i'm also going to upgrade the blinds to bamboo shades. better yet, it will give me a reason to use my camera for before/after shots, and i might even sneak in a few pics of the animals because i know everyone questions whether i actually still have the little (well, not so little anymore) packets of evil lurking around the house.
my calendar is pretty clear this week, and my secretary is back from vacation, so hopefully i can knock a bunch of work out of here. i'm starting to get behind again, and considering the upcoming few weeks, i need to get a good jump.
what else? oh, the re-pete is in camp all week outside alexandria (over 2 hrs from btr). this is the first time she's been away from either me or J for this long in her entire life. she's pretty stoked about it-- J is pretty nervous about it. i think she'll have a large time, but i would not let her take her ipod. i mean, come on, once those other 9-10 yr old girls figured out that the ipod had over 20 songs from the doors on it, it would be the hot item to steal, right?
anyway, not much happening, but i like it that way.
