i don't have much to talk about...

so this will probably be brief. work has been busy this week-- too many depositions, meetings, court appearances, etc., so my task work is piling up. i'm in the office all day tomorrow (except for sushi lunch), so i'm going to try to shut the phone down and slam out some work.

painting project. it's going-- the living room is taking way more time than i wanted, but it should be done by saturday. with the softball tournament this weekend, i probably won't be able to start on my room until next week/weekend. i'm determined to have it done before the great XT invasion on july 1. i'm sure there will be some blog-worthy stories during that week. i might even post some of them. don't count on it though. :)

what else. oh, pepper is back from camp, and she loved it. having her that far away for that long drove me a little batshit, but i made it. i wasn't expecting it to affect me as much as it did, but i guess that's a good sign that i actually like my kid. refreshing stuff. in 5 weeks, we have a beach week in fla, and i've already planned the great beatles immersion project with her. she already likes selected beatles songs, but we're going into the deeper tracks on this trip. i think she'd embrace anything instead of 10 hours of allmorrisonradio.

i'm starting to get the sense that this blog is just nonsense informational crap. i don't know that i'm all that interested in keeping a blog that just details my trivial day. is this the stuff you want to read? if so, i'll keep doing it i guess, but it just seems meaningless. would you rather the obscure? the original writing stuff? the random rants? or just this straight reporting? feedback, people.
