is underway. when i went to buy the red paint at home depot, the girl told me that i'd need a tinted primer, otherwise it would take 4-5 coats. i didn't really believe her, but i bought it anyway.
she was right.
even with the tinted primer, there's no way i could just leave one coat. so i did what i could with the gallon i had (with one coat only, a gallon would've done the job) and then ran out. so one day next week, i'll pick up another gallon and finish it off.
of course, i had to quarantine the little packets of evil, and they didn't appreciate it, and then they were freaked out when i let them free because the living room is in disarray. it's good for 'em--- they're arrogant little shits.
i would post pictures, but i can't seem to locate my camera's battery charger. i have before pictures anyway, so i have time to look for it before the project is done. all i need to do is finish off the paint and get my doors/pink floyd concert handbills framed. i also saw the beatles poster that i want-- now if i can just find it on ebay....
oh- one more thing. i'm going to a cookout at my ex-MIL's house. everyone will be there. funny thing too-- last night, j's husband, kevin, called me to get updates on the college world series games and the game b/t detroit and the apocalyptics (he's a huge detroit fan; of course, the apocs screwed me by losing.) i swear, my life could be a sitcom. it writes itself....
