for the most part. traffic is still a bitch because a lot of lights are still down, but there's no more run on the gas stations and grocery stores. most bars are open again, and people are yammering on about LSU football instead of fucking-gustav-this, fucking-gustav-that. a lot of people i know are still without power, so i can't really bitch. well, i could, but it would be shallow.
what else. i'm cutting my hair short short short tomorrow- i'm tired of fighting mother nature. i'm going with a jason statham look-- scruffy facial hair and baldness. hell, i even went to the gym today. on a related note, i haven't drank in 6 days either. it seems that the stupid things i do in life can be almost directly traced back to alcohol. i'm not on the wagon or anything, but if i can keep it down to once per week (football saturday) and leave my phone in the car while i'm out, i'll be way ahead of the game.
another good thing in disguise--- i had to clean out everything in my refridgerator and freezer due to the storm. now, with a clean slate, i get to buy nothing but healthy food. again, not to say i won't mix in a pizza every now and then, but if i can keep that shit down to once a week too, i might get back to my pre-louisiana weight. that would kick ass.
the deja-vu has pretty much gone away, thank vishnu. and i've actually been sleeping better through the night-- haven't figured out if it's due to not being hammered when i go to sleep or not, but i'm just glad i only wake up 4 times a night instead of 12. i'll take it.
what else-- oh yeah, the re-pete turns 10 next week. unbelieveable. i don't even have words for it. on the 18th, i'll only owe her mo-ther 96 more payments, and then she's paid for! yeah, i'm going to hell for that, but it's meant in the most comedic way possible. re-pete would hit me for it, but she'd appreciate the sarcasm there.
not much else going on, so i'll cut it short. hope y'all are having good days.
