2:07 pm on a friday...

and i typed up more handwritten pieces for 42: chlorine into the word document. i wanted it to be 42 sequential days, but i'm not jack kerouac-- i can't write every day. that guy wrote daily, and when he was done, he wrote a freaking journal. i just can't do that. i can't summon the words on command-- i just have to be open and unafraid when they come.

after re-reading the collection so far, my first instinct is to edit/shred/delete most of it. but the stated purpose was to take 42 days and just write what came, no edits, no fear. a lot of what's come so far won't take any secret decoder ring to understand, unlike practically everything i've ever written so far. a few pieces are cryptic and random, but that wasn't for the purpose of being cryptic and random-- it's just what came.

i haven't decided who gets this collection yet. i suppose if you're reading this blog, chances are pretty good that you get one. i'd like to have it finished by the end of year, but i'm not putting a timetable on anything.

i'm bored again.

Your not supposed to re-read it. Thats when you start second guessing your work. Go with the flow and remember sometimes its not supposed to make sense. Its how you feel at the time of putting it out there.
